I JUST LAUGHED SO FUCKING HARD AT THIS GIF. WTF DISNEY.

…The first part is truly questionable, but the second bit I can easily see happening in a nonsexual way.

Forgot how desolate the stretch of thruway leading up to it was…

This makes me crack up every damn time I see it.

…This is awesome, but my immediate impression was that this is the perspective of some poor doctor experiencing the single most horrifying child delivery imaginable.

All joking aside, I sometimes wish these were actual facts. Life would be so interesting.

Just beat the DLC in an hour and a half or less. Maybe not worth the $10 I spent to get it based on the length, but the fact it’s about Harley made it worth it. God, I love her so much.

That’s pretty much sums up how I felt about it. Only bought it because the game was phenomenal, and I needed my fill of Batman to hold me over until TDKR.

Feelin’ a tad artsy at the moment.
…Yes, before anyone asks, that is helvetica. Don’t hate me for it.

So I’ve been meaning to comment on this for awhile now, but I just never got around to it- firebending in A:tLA and TLoK is ridiculously unrealistic.
The other elements are all portrayed far more believably. Earth always has significant impact as it is a solid chunk of matter, water is animated beautifully and is pretty much true to its liquid properties, and air is quite clearly just a powerful blast of gas.
Fire, on the other hand, is pretty much portrayed as carrying the same amount of concussive force as just about any rock in the series. Think of all the times in either series that a firebender has sent someone flying or broken through solid boulders. Now think of real fire- real, gaseous fire that has no more substance to it than air. Think that could feasibly smash through a boulder?
I’m not even bitching about it though, just musing. Truth be told, if A:tLA had been a lesser series I’m sure my suspension of disbelief would have been thoroughly shattered by such a strange inconsistency, but as it stands it never bothered me in the slightest because I was just so enthralled by it. It’s entertaining and makes the balance of elements much more interesting, so I absolutely love firebending as it is, solid mass and all.
